Where is the Galini-Limnionas? |
We're in Limnionas village which is on the south-west of Samos. Click here to see where we are on Google Maps! Samos itself is part of the North Aegean group of islands and we are the closest Greek island to Turkey - less than one kilometre at the nearest point. |
What is the Galini-Limnionas? |
We are a family-run complex of self-catering holiday apartments and traditional restaurant. We are open from May until October every year. You can read more about our apartments here and more about our restaurant here. |

When I call, what languages do you speak? |
We speak Greek fluently (as you may have guessed!) and we can also speak English. Our English isn't bad but we apologise in advance for anything we don't understand. If you're worried about misunderstandings you may want to fax us on 00 30 22730 37483 or make an enquiry here. |
What does it cost to book an apartment with you? |
Have a look at our rates here. Please remember that prices are per apartment per night NOT per person per night. All our prices are in Euros. |
Do you have a swimming pool? |
No but we are about five minutes walk from the wonderful Limnionas beach which is very safe for swimming and a great place to relax. |
Are you near the beach? |
Yes. About five minutes walk - less if you're a fast walker! |
Do all of the apartments have a seaview? |
No. Some do and others have spectacular views of Mount Kerkis which is above Limnionas Bay. If you'd like a seaview let us know when you make an enquiry and we can let you know if we have a suitable apartment available. |
What's included in the price of the apartments? |
The apartment itself (click here for details), air conditioning, bed linen, bath towels, cleaning (twice a week) and hot water available 24 hours. We can also offer breakfast for a small additional cost - click here for full details. |
Do you do car hire? |
No, but have a look at our links page for our recommended car rental agency. |

Where can I eat if I stay with you? |
We hope you'll eat in our family-run, traditional restaurant. It's a very short walk from the apartments and we offer a discount to all of our guests on the cost of evening meals. For more about our restaurant, click here. We appreciate as well that you may want to try other tavernas in the village and there are several others in easy walking distance. We hope, though, that you'll come back to us many times! |
What else can you tell me? |
We're one of the longest established businesses in Limnionas (we were here before tourism).
Galini means peaceful and tranquil which is what we aim to provide for to you on your holiday. Our favourite football team is Olympiakos (from Athens). Vasiliki makes fantastic walnut cake but doesn't do it every week. Dimitrios is also a great car mechanic. We put fennel seeds in to the dough of our famous cheese pie. Demis Roussos was born in Egypt and once sang his way to freedom when his plane was hijacked |
